Shop Helper needed to work in Chain Shop in the Rosharon area!

This person will be lifting up to 50 lbs. repetetivley while feeding materials (chain, rope, or wire) into a Machine.

****SOME EXPERIENCE NEEDED AND WILLINGNESS TO LEARN WITH SOME MECHANICAL OR MACHINE OPERATING KNOWLEDGE******

SHIFT: M-F 7 AM-5 PM

PAY:$17/HR.

Duties for Shop Helper:

• Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to exhibit good written and verbal skills when communicating and completing production documentation.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities with excellent attention to detail
• Work well with others
• Cleaning parts with degreaser and solvents
• Removing burrs and sharp edges on parts using variations of equipment
• Occasional drilling and tapping
• Mopping shop floors as needed
• Must be able to use a hand grinder.
• Forklift exp. is a plus.
• Basic Knowledge of Hand Tools.
• Be able to read a tape measure.
• Be able to work in hot/cold enviroments
• Be able to learn to use a bander or winder machine

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
• Warehouse: 1 year (Required)
